American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) - AARP of Oregon promotes and supports advocacy, education, and community service activities in states and communities. AARP works in both private and public sectors to improve the quality of life for our members and for all Americans as they grow older.
Assisted Living Federation of America - go to ALFA for a free list of over 5,000-plus members, which are for-profit and non-profit assisted-living facilities and CCRCs. ALFA's free Consumer Guide & Checklist includes questions to ask during a visit.
Casey Eye Institute - The Casey Eye Institute (CEI) is an academic regional eye center dedicated to preventing blindness through research, and to bringing advanced technology to the Pacific Northwest through continuing education of physicians.

Continuing Care Accreditation Commission - The accreditation arm of AAHSA give its seal of approval to CCRCs (mainly nonprofits) that submit to a yearlong review and meet standards for financial strength, governance and resident health. You'll find a list online or by calling for a free directory.
Eldercare Locator Service - Since 1991, the Eldercare Locator, a nationwide toll-free service, has helped older adults and their caregivers find local services for seniors.
Legacy Emanuel Hospital & Health Center - Founded in 1912, Legacy Health provides trauma care, intensive care and emergency care.
Medicare - visit the official U.S. Government site for people with Medicare.
OASIS - a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of mature adults, offering challenging programs in the arts, humanities, health, technology and volunteer service. OASIS creates opportunities for people to continue their personal growth and serve their communities.
Oregon Network of Care - Web site sponsored by the state of Oregon. Comprehensive long-term care information and education for seniors and people with disabilities. "One-stop shopping" for services, facilities by county, assistive devices, and links to elected officials.
Oregon Cares Resource Center - This Oregon Department of Human Services center helps find elder care, respite care and other resources statewide. Call (866) 219-7218.
Oregon Gerontological Association - The Oregon Gerontological Association (OGA) is a statewide non-profit organization committed to education, training and skill development, information exchange, resource development, technical assistance, and organizational networking.
Oregon Health & Science University - Provider a full spectrum of health care; from the basic to the complex, from disease prevention to highly sophisticated care for patients with complicated illnesses or injuries.
Oregon Health Care Association - Oregon Health Care Association (OHCA) is a private not for profit trade association representing 200 nursing homes, assisted living, and residential care facilities statewide.
